I study student reasoning through the lens of fast, intuitive thinking and slow, analytical thinking because I want to know how students’ fast thinking communicates and impacts their slow thinking in order to understand how to push students to use their slow thinking.
I really like how you explained dual process without actually using the term “dual process”. I feel like this is easier to digest. I do like “intuitive vs. analytical” more than “fast vs. slow” though.
